Tip of the day – iPhone and iPad wireframe templates in Fireworks CS6

I just discovered a pretty great new feature in Fireworks CS6 – default wireframe templates for iOS that we would actually use. Previously, I would either have to recreate wireframe elements as I’m progressing, or search for other templates online that would help me speed through the process.

You can access the files from the new > template menu in fireworks, or download them below.

 

Download the iPhone template (right click, save as)

 

Download the iPad template (right click, save as)

    Some elements aren’t level and that makes them a pain to work with.

    I’ve played with the templates and they seem decent.

    I also recently found about the Fireworks iPad templates at guitoolkits.com/fireworks-gui-bundle and have been using them for a few days now. Not bad.

    Keep up the great work!
